Frequently Asked Questions

Have questions? We have answers.

What makes Sodium Frost Glow different from other power banks?
Sodium Frost Glow utilizes sodium-ion technology instead of lithium-ion, offering four major advantages: it operates safely in extreme cold environments from -40°C to 60°C, outperforming lithium batteries at low temperatures; it has virtually zero risk of fire, ensuring greater safety; it supports Never Dead technology, allowing charge and discharge from 0% to 100% without damage, freeing you from the constraints of battery management; and it has a cycle life of up to 3000 cycles (approximately 10 years), far exceeding the 800-1000 cycles of lithium batteries. Additionally, it uses sustainable sodium resources (derived from sea salt), making it more environmentally friendly, with a robust casing that is shock-resistant, fireproof, and waterproof, ideal for outdoor use.
How does Sodium Frost Glow perform in cold weather?
Designed for extreme cold, Sodium Frost Glow operates stably from -40°C to 60°C and has been tested in extreme conditions: from -35°C to -40°C. It can charge a phone more than 10 times at -40°C and power devices like GoPro for over 12 hours (860Wh capacity), surpassing lithium batteries which often fail below -20°C. It can also power a heater (100W) for about 9.6 hours, making it perfect for winter camping, polar expeditions, or rescue missions.
Why can't Sodium Frost Glow charge below -15°C? Is this a limitation?
This is not a limitation but a smart temperature control feature of Sodium Frost Glow. Below -15°C, the battery automatically pauses charging to prevent potential damage from low temperatures, ensuring a cycle life of 3000 times (approximately 10 years). You can still use the device to discharge normally at -40°C. To charge, simply place the device in a warm environment (like inside a car or tent, above -15°C) for safe charging.
What is Never Dead technology, and how does it benefit me?
Never Dead is a core feature of Sodium Frost Glow, indicating that the sodium-ion battery supports charge and discharge from 0% to 100% without damage. You can confidently use the battery until it's fully depleted and charge it back to 100% for storage without worrying about battery damage or capacity degradation. This gives you more freedom during outdoor adventures, eliminating the need for frequent battery management, and ensures that your device remains as good as new after recharging, with a lifespan of up to 10 years.
What devices and scenarios can Sodium Frost Glow support?
Sodium Frost Glow is a versatile power source suitable for multiple scenarios, including cold-weather camping (powering heaters, lighting equipment), winter rescue (charging communication, medical devices), home backup power (use during power outages), and low-speed electric vehicles (12V DC output). It offers 2 AC outputs (rated at 1200W), USB-C (PD 100W and 65W), USB-A (QC 3.0 18W and 5V 2.4A), and DC output (12V), capable of powering devices such as phones, laptops, radios, etc.
What charging options does Sodium Frost Glow support? Can I charge it in the wild?
Sodium Frost Glow supports three charging methods: AC fast charging (110V, approximately 500W, includes a standard US AC charging cable), solar charging (up to 150W, requires a separate solar panel purchase), and car charging (12V input). In the wild, you can charge the device using a solar panel (sold separately) or a car charger, especially suitable for polar expeditions or camping scenarios. With the Never Dead feature, you can safely recharge the device even after it's completely drained.
